IKE・SUNPARK is the ward’s largest park, built as a disaster-prevention lawn on the Japan Mint Tokyo branch site. Everyday use is picnic, kids, coffee. After a quake it is an evacuation ground, heliport, and supply yard. Open 05:00–22:00. Office 08:00–17:00, 03-6914-1782. Weekend farmers’ market is listed on farmers-ikesun.jp. Water play runs in the warm months. EAT GOOD PLACE and cabin shops (KOTO-PORT) sit on the edge. Higashi-Ikebukuro Station is closer than JR Ikebukuro. Toshima Kids Park next door is a booked red playground and a temporary plot. Do not fold the kids park into this row, and do not type the farmers’ market as place_type market.
