East-exit lawn park, 7,811 m², rebuilt 2 April 2016. Weekend picnic, kids’ terrace, Racines café. 08:00–22:00. Closed 31 Dec–3 Jan. No vinyl sheets on the grass.
About Minami-Ikebukuro Park
Minami-Ikebukuro Park is the lawn locals actually use. It opened in 1951 on the old Nezuyama woods, closed for works, and reopened 2 April 2016. Summer Tifton and winter ryegrass keep it green. Racines FARM TO PARK sits on the edge. Hours 08:00–22:00. Closed 31 December–3 January. The ward shuts half the lawn when it overseeds (in 2026, 14 September–29 October, one half at a time). No chairs, tents, vinyl sheets, or pets. Goza from the park or café. Bicycles stay in the next-door cycle park. Kids’ terrace has a hill slide. Table tennis if you bring bats. This is a park, not a mall terrace.
