About Otome Road
Otome Road is the west flank of Sunshine 60, from the Sunshine-mae crossing under the Metropolitan Expressway down toward Kasuga-dori. K-BOOKS and reuse shops for otome games, BL, and doujin sit on the west side. The east side is the Sunshine wall. Animate Ikebukuro opened here in 1983, then moved to Hareza / Naka-Ikebukuro Park in 2012. The flagship is a shop, not this street. Rashinban’s character-goods hall on this strip closed 9 April 2023.
