About This Event / イベントについて
The Metropolitan Street Illumination is an Ikebukuro West Gate winter tradition, now in its 10th year. Approximately 40,000 LED lights illuminate the street between the station and Hotel Metropolitan, creating a warm corridor of light.
The lights are on daily from 17:00 to 01:00, making it a perfect evening stroll destination. Free to view, and it pairs well with the Hotel Metropolitan Christmas display and the Ikebukuro West Gate Park Extreme Illumination.
