About This Event / イベントについて
The SOS Exhibition celebrates the 20th anniversary of the TV anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya at Sunshine City Exhibition Hall D in Ikebukuro. The exhibition runs from August 10 to August 30, 2026, and is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00 with last entry at 18:30.
The exhibition is structured in two parts: a Retrospective of Haruhi section that revisits the story through rare production materials and a recreated SOS Brigade clubroom photo spot, and a Haruhi Phenomenon section that examines the work's multifaceted influence on modern culture. Over 100 illustrations are displayed throughout the venue.
A special audio guide newly recorded for this exhibition features commentary that deepens the viewing experience. Original merchandise using a newly commissioned illustration by character designer Ito Noizi, a guidebook documenting the exhibition content, and a wide range of goods including apparel and accessories are available for purchase.

Timed-entry tickets are required on Aug 10, 11, and all weekends/holidays. Weekday tickets are not valid on those days.
