About This Event / イベントについて
The Fukuro Matsuri is Ikebukuro's largest autumn festival, held in two parts across two weekends. Part 1 (September 26–27) is the Mikoshi Festival, featuring 15 portable shrines carried through the streets by 4,000 participants — a powerful, energetic spectacle.
Part 2 (October 10–11) is the Dance Festival / Tokyo Yosakoi, with 112 teams and approximately 5,000 dancers performing across multiple stages and streets. Dating back to 1968, this is one of Toshima's biggest community events. Free to watch throughout.

Part 1 (Sep 26-27): Mikoshi Festival — 15 portable shrines, most energetic on Saturday.

第2部（10/10-11）：東京よさこい。112チームが複数の通りで踊る。
Both parts are free to watch; arrive early for the best viewing spots.
