About This Event / イベントについて
The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fes (powered by Dwango) is Japan's largest cosplay event, drawing 161,000 attendees in 2025. The main stage is at Naka-Ikebukuro Park, with satellite zones at Sunshine City and IKE・SUNPARK. A highlight is the cosplay parade — roughly 400 cosplayers marching through Ikebukuro's streets in costume.
The event is ticketed (not free): General ¥2,980/day, Premium ¥3,980/day, Premium 3-Day ¥10,000, and Kids ¥500. Friday evening features Ike-Haro Night, an 18+ evening event with a different vibe from the daytime sessions. Organized by Dwango, Animate, Hakosta, Toshima City, and Sunshine City — it is the climax of Ikebukuro's cosplay calendar.
