About This Event / イベントについて
The Ikebukuro Honcho Bon Odori is a community bon dance festival held at Ikebukuro Honcho Park, north of the station. The festival features performances by the Ikebukuro Honcho Suisho Taiko drumming group, with food stalls lining the promenade.
Running from 19:00 to 21:30 on both evenings, it is a classic neighborhood bon odori — relaxed, family-friendly, and open to anyone who wants to dance. A wonderful contrast to the larger festivals downtown.
池袋本町納涼盆踊りは、池袋駅の北にある池袋本町公園で開催される地域の盆踊り。池袋本町末廣太鼓の演奏で祭りを盛り上げ、遊歩道沿いに夜店が並びます。
両日19:00～21:30開催。リラックスした家族向けの地域盆踊りで、飛び入り自由。ダウンタウンの大きなお祭りとは違う地域の温かさが味わえます。
