About This Event / イベントについて
Come Together! Ikebukuro Street Performance Festival 2026 takes the west exit for two afternoons, 21 and 22 September. Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre and Toshima City host it with Arts Council Tokyo support. Admission is free. Shows run roughly 12:00 to 17:30.
The plaza and the park outdoor theatre trade sets every half hour. Names on the grid include mime comic Kano Mami, acrobats SUKE3 & SYU, juggler Yoshikawa Kento, Dctpeppers Theatre’s 3-metre elephant puppet, jazz band HIBI★Chazz-K, stilt tango pair STILTANGO, walking acts HARO, Yamasuke, and Ganges Indus Dodas, plus three living statues. A special parade closes the plaza at 17:00. Stamp your arm at Peta-peta Paint until 16:30. Challenge Plaza teaches basic juggling, no booking. Food trucks, Pakupaku Kitchen, stay until 17:30 and charge for food.
Ikebukuro Station west exit is about two minutes on foot, closest via exit 2b toward the theatre. If rain hits, some acts move inside the theatre. The English page is on geigeki.jp. Pair it with Fukuro Matsuri the following weekend if you want two west-exit weekends in a row.
