About This Event / イベントについて
The Ikebukuro Montparnasse Art Walk is a unique art festival that transforms the entire neighborhood into a gallery. Now in its 21st edition, the concept is "every corner of the city is a museum" — exhibitions and workshops are spread across the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, Tobu Department Store, the Toshima Local History Museum, Jiyu Gakuen Myojinkan, and other locations.
Most exhibitions are free, with some special events paid. The spring edition includes the Ikebukuro Art Gathering (IAG) public exhibition. Pick up a map and wander between venues — it is a wonderful way to discover the creative side of Ikebukuro.
