About This Event / イベントについて
The Tokyo Anime Award Festival (TAAF) is an international animation film festival that takes over multiple Ikebukuro cinemas each March. The 13th edition screened outstanding animated works from Japan and around the world, with competition screenings, award ceremonies, and special talk events.
Venues included TOHO Cinemas Ikebukuro, the Toshima Civic Center, and Humax Cinemas, making Ikebukuro the center of the anime world for four days. Tickets ranged from ¥1,000 to ¥5,000 depending on the screening.
