HIKAKIN's miso ramen brand turned real shop, reservation-only in west Ikebukuro since March 2026.

Misokin is the miso ramen brand created by Japanese YouTuber HIKAKIN, first as a cup noodle that sold in astonishing numbers and then as a physical shop. The Ikebukuro branch opened on the eighth of March 2026, taking over a street-level unit directly linked to the subway's C2 and C3 exits in west Ikebukuro. It is run under the Setagaya-ya group, part of the Yoshinoya holdings family, and the earlier Tokyo Station branch served some 130,000 bowls before closing. The shop operates on a fully reservation basis, with timed entry tickets sold through an electronic service, so walk-ins are not how things work here. The focused menu centres on the classic misokin miso ramen, with additions such as ajitama, chashu, a tokusei special and a spicy kara-misokin variant, plus extra noodles, rice and soft drinks at a ticket machine. The ramen database scores it highly, suggesting the cup-to-bowl translation has landed well. For fans of HIKAKIN or curious ramen chasers, Misokin's Ikebukuro shop is a genuine event rather than an ordinary noodle stop. The fact it sits in a neighbourhood the creator himself once called home adds a personal note to the project. Secure a ticket when the next release opens and judge for yourself whether the hype matches the bowl.
