Fish-wholesaler-run Edomae sushi on Tobu Ikebukuro's 12th floor, holding around 50 neta with a focus on natural Indian Ocean tuna.

Sushi Ginza Fukusuke's Ikebukuro Tobu branch sits on the 12th floor of the Tobu department store's Dining City Spice, a one-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. As the sushi arm of a fish wholesaler, it keeps a standing roster of around fifty toppings, with a particular focus on natural Indian Ocean tuna, and serves them as proper Edo-style nigiri. The seventy-seat room blends department-store polish with a more casual feel, using white wood and natural stone, and offers a horseshoe counter, roomy table seating, and two private rooms for two to eight guests. Lunch runs to a relaxed three o'clock last order, and the menu ranges from an omakase nigiri "Misaki" with a crab bowl to a colourful Edo-style chirashi and a nigiri-and-sashimi set, with takeaway platters available for home celebrations. With private rooms, baby chairs, and wheelchair access, the branch accommodates everything from a quiet lunch to a family gathering, and reservation windows are set aside for table and private-room seating. Come for the wholesaler-fresh neta, and let a branch of a Ginza name bring measured Edo-style sushi to Ikebukuro.
